Our Children’s Home is not the Destination. It’s the Beginning.
For some children, home is no longer a place of safety. Abuse, neglect, family breakdown and the loss of parental care leave children with nowhere safe to turn. Others don’t have a home at all.
Our Children’s Home in Parwanipur provides a stable, family environment where children can begin to heal, return to education and simply enjoy being children again. Every child receives individual support tailored to their needs, helping them rebuild confidence, develop new skills and look forward to the future.
Our goal is always to reunite children with their families whenever it is safe and in the child’s best interests. When it isn’t, we provide the long-term care, love and stability every child needs to thrive.
Preparing for the Future
A safe home is only the beginning. Every child attends school, receives healthcare and emotional support. The boys love taking part in sports (particularly football and cricket), and creative arts and activities that help them discover their talents and build confidence.
As children grow older, we support them in preparing for independent adulthood through career guidance, vocational training, higher education and life skills. We aim for every boy leaving our care to do so with confidence, skills and opportunities to build the future they choose.
Many of our older boys have now flown the nest. Today, they are building independent lives, with most working, pursuing further education or doing both.
We couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved. Many still return to visit, sharing their experiences and inspiring the younger boys who are following in their footsteps.

Life at Home
We want every child to experience the simple moments that make childhood special. From attending school and doing their homework, to playing football matches or celebrating birthdays and festivals, life at home is filled with opportunities to learn, laugh and grow.
Here, children build friendships, discover new interests, celebrate achievements and create happy memories that will stay with them for life.
There are always around 20 boys living at the home, and a small number of additional boys who receive educational support and day care through the programme. Our dedicated team becomes an extended family, providing the encouragement, consistency and kindness every child needs to flourish.
Children enjoy:
- A safe home
- Education
- Nutritious meals and healthcare
- Counselling and emotional wellbeing support
- Sports, music, art and creative activities
- Career guidance and vocational opportunities
- Celebrating birthdays, festivals and special occasions
- A caring family environment where every child is valued and encouraged to pursue their dreams
Learning extends beyond the classroom. During school holidays, the boys help care for our vegetable garden and chickens. In doing so, they learn responsibility, teamwork and practical life skills. Together they grow fresh organic vegetables, collect eggs and experience pride from caring for both the environment and the place they call home.
“When I was living on the streets, I had no place to stay and no food to eat. Our Sansar gave me more than food and shelter. It showed me how to live independently and gave me hope and vision for my future.”
– Rabi, 15 years old
